LIMESTONE PUBLIC HEARING DATE

Wednesday, February 11, 2026 @ 5pm

We have been scheduled a public hearing date with TDEC regarding their pending permit for Limestone Waste Water facility. TDEC has issued a draft permit for expansion and upgrade to the Limestone waste water treatment plant located in the neighborhood of River Rest from 250,000 million gallons per day to 450,000 million gallons per day.

Leading up to the public hearing River Rest Community HOA will offer a couple round table meetings to share information and plan for the hearing. You are invited to come to one or both of the informal gatherings, though some of the information may be duplicated. I have been counseled from TDEC to expect a basic agenda of an opening 30 minutes for TDEC for overview and update regarding the permit followed by an opportunity for public comment and questions. TDEC will accept comments for this permit up until 10 days after the public hearing date. So get your comment submitted before Friday, February 20th.
